Blogging with a Funky Grammarly

Is it just me or Grammarly is acting weird lately?

I have a paid account. Since Monday, it has been acting really strange. Every time I proofread, it would show two lines of the same recommendation. It would then require me to correct or ignore both. At times, I would attempt to click on an error but it would “dissolve” like pffft. Gone.

I use the Grammarly Chrome extension because it’s easier. Are you experiencing the same thing?

Is a More Expensive Copyscape Worth Every Penny?

Okay, so I received this email from Copyscape: http://prntscr.com/hvjhuv ^(http://gauribhosale.com/goto/http://prntscr.com/hvjhuv).

I have been using Copyscape for the longest time. Though I understand their explanation in sustainability, I think pumping it to 300% just like that would really hurt my pocket.

Do you think it’s okay to pay “Only 3c per search for the first 200 words + 1c per additional 100 words or part thereof”? If not, what do you think is the best alternative?

Your thoughts are highly appreciated.

Have you started extending your meta descriptions?

Hi, fellow BHW members!

We’ve been monitoring this update about the length of meta descriptions since it became one of the trending topics in the SEO community since November this year.

At the moment, we still keep our meta descriptions between 130 and 156 characters because Yoast SEO has not made an update yet on the maximum character count that would give us the green SEO signal. It’s just most of our clients have gotten used to seeing that green SEO signal lit when they check.

How Do You Write Your Blog Intro?

The first sentences are the most powerful lines in a blog. The introduction part is the reader’s deciding factor to continue reading or to hit the X button.

I usually start my blog with a question, a need. People have thousands of “have-you-ever” questions that need answers. From there, it is easier for me to express my ideas.

How about you? Feel free to share your thoughts.

Thanks!
